Terms of Service

Last updated: October 12, 2026

1. Who we are

PetrolDrive is run by Artūrs Mollers, Inči, Jaunalūksnes pagasts, Alūksnes novads, LV-4350, Latvia. Registration no.: 25069112678. Email: info@petroldrive.com.

These terms apply to all orders placed on petroldrive.com. Please also read our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

2. Products

We make laser-cut, powder-coated steel car silhouettes and custom-designed silhouettes, as well as personalised products such as licence plate frames, keychains and custom metal signs. Product photos are illustrations; handmade items may vary slightly in finish. Main characteristics (including material and finish), price, delivery details and whether an item is personalised are shown on each product page and at checkout.

3. Ordering and contract formation

Our product listings are an invitation to order. When you place an order you make an offer to buy. You get an automatic email confirming receipt; the contract is concluded when we send a confirmation that we have accepted your order (or when we dispatch it, if earlier). We may decline an order, for example if a design request infringes the law or third-party rights or a price was obviously wrong; any payment taken is then refunded in full. Contracts are concluded in English or, for customers in Latvia, in Latvian. Our order confirmation email includes your order details and links to these terms and our Refund Policy (including the model withdrawal form); you can also see your orders in your account if you have one. You can correct input errors in the cart and at checkout before clicking the order button.

4. Prices and tax

Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include all charges payable to us, including free shipping. The seller is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged or shown on invoices. For deliveries to the USA, import duties are included in the price. For the UK and Australia, import duties and taxes are paid by the buyer. For other non-EU destinations, import duties or taxes may be charged by the destination country.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and the other methods shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details. Payment is taken when you place the order.

6. Custom orders and design approval

- You describe the car (model, photos, details). We create a digital preview and send it to you for approval.

- We start cutting only after you approve the preview in writing (email is fine). The approved preview is the agreed specification.

- Up to 3 rounds of reasonable revisions are included before approval.

- If we don't hear from you within 30 days after sending a preview (and one reminder), we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

- Custom and personalised items (including licence plate frames) are made to your specification and are excluded from the right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(c)). Your legal guarantee and statutory rights remain.

- You confirm that you have the right to use any images you send us, and that your request doesn't infringe anyone's rights. We may refuse designs containing third-party logos, offensive or unlawful content.

7. Trademarks and intellectual property

Car makes and model names are used only to describe the vehicle a silhouette represents. All such names and trademarks belong to their owners. PetrolDrive is an independent maker and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any car manufacturer. Our designs, photos and site content are our own work and may not be copied without permission.

8. Delivery, withdrawal and guarantee

See our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy. Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK have a 14-day right of withdrawal for standard (non-personalised) items. Consumers in the EU and EEA have a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under Latvian and EU law. Customers in other countries keep all rights under their local consumer law.

9. Use and liability

Please mount products securely and follow any instructions; steel edges can be sharp. Keep small items such as keychains away from young children. Licence plate frames must not cover any part of the plate or required markings — you are responsible for complying with local traffic rules. Our liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent or gross negligence, under product liability law, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. natural disasters, war, strikes, carrier or customs disruptions, power or supply outages). We will tell you promptly, and if the delay is significant you may cancel and receive a full refund.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside (Rome I Regulation art. 6). Consumers may bring proceedings in Latvia or in their home country courts.

12. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at info@petroldrive.com; we reply to written complaints within 15 days. If we can't resolve the issue, consumers may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (PTAC), Brīvības iela 55, Rīga, LV-1010, www.ptac.gov.lv, and submit an out-of-court claim to the Consumer Dispute Resolution Committee (Patērētāju strīdu risināšanas komisija). Consumers in other EU countries can get free help from the European Consumer Centre (ECC Latvia). (Note: the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.)

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.
